And just like that, I've lived in Tokyo for a year! Pinch me! I remember saying goodbye to my friends and boarding that flight to Japan. There were tears and a bit of anxiety about the unknown.

In this episode of the podcast, I share about:

  • The Early Days
  • A particularly low moment in the early days
  • Some practices in the early days
  • A God-moment in the first month
  • What surprised me about Japan
  • What I like and dont like
  • A Great question on life in transit - in between
  • Building Community so far
  • Dealing with language, culture shock, language barrier, and social acceptance
  • Cost of living/food etc
  • One thing Ive struggled with and an event that upset me
