Planning a Disney trip is magical, but it is not always perfectly polished. Sometimes it is a little last minute, a little messy, and a whole lot of fun. In this episode of the Well Hello Magic Podcast, we are diving into two big topics: finding the best places to work remotely while at Walt Disney World Resort and tips for pulling off a last-minute Halloween trip like a pro.
First up, let’s talk about remote work at Disney. Whether you are a content creator, a parent squeezing in a few hours of work, or someone who needs to check in with the office before heading to the parks, finding the right spot to open your laptop matters. We are going beyond the obvious and exploring some of my favorite quiet corners and hidden gems around the parks and resorts. Think comfy seating, good Wi-Fi, low foot traffic, and just the right amount of background magic to keep you inspired. From tucked-away lounges at Disney's Riviera Resort to the airy Solarium at Disney's Beach Club Resort and even a few sneaky park spots like the upstairs of Columbia Harbour House, these are the spaces where magic meets productivity.
Then, we switch gears and talk about what happens when you plan a Disney trip at the last second because that is exactly what I am doing right now. I changed my Halloween trip plans just 10 days ago, and yes, we changed our costumes again this week. I am sharing how I keep my sanity while planning on the fly, where to focus my time and energy when the countdown clock is ticking, and the real talk on what you can and cannot accomplish when planning a Disney vacation last minute. Spoiler: it is absolutely still magical.
I am also sharing how I will be testing out Wait Magic, a trip-planning app that reached out to me. I want to see if it actually lives up to the hype for real-time wait times, strategy tips, and crowd patterns. If it works well, it might just become part of my toolkit for helping you plan smarter and stress less on your own trips.
So if you have ever wondered:
• Where can I actually work remotely without the chaos of Main Street USA?
• How do you plan a Disney trip in a week or two without losing your mind?
• Is it still worth going to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party last minute?
• How can new planning apps help keep me organized?
