How does this show bounce back from the awfulness that was Bugs?! Well with one of the best episodes of the season, of course!

Sam is having nightmares about a family in trouble in their childhood home so he and Dean head back to where it all began. Is it the thing that killed their mom? They aren't sure. Dean puts in a heartfelt call to John begging for help, but will he answer?

Regardless of what happens, we know one thing is for sure: Jess has her mind blown by the end of the episode.
