Hey Fandom! Welcome back for another episode of Trash Talk Roundtable with your hosts Rick, Corrina and Tony! This week we are here to break down The Challenge World Championship episode 6 "Brave New World" and since this is the midseason marker, we are here with our good friend and special guest Alex Brizard. You may recognize Alex from Netflix's The Circle where he catfished as Nathan (rather successfully if I might add), or from his podcast called "Two Dudes Watch Cartoons". If neither of those are it, you may recognize him from this podcast because this will now be the 4th season that we do a midseason recap with Alex.

Kick off the episode with us as we talk about our recent Challengers Unplugged: Beyond The Edit with Cory Wharton episode we just released along with catching up with Alex, making predictions for the future of The Challenge, discussing whether or not MTV Challengers and CBS Challengers should be mixed and we do a little bit of light Challenge USA Cast rumor discussion (0:00 - 20:30). As we dive in to our midseason breakdown, we cover everything starting with how we all felt having the elimination at the start of this episode, Wes's moving speech, whether or not we think Darrell is still made for The Challenge and our hot takes on if Wes is coming to the end of his reality TV road. We also discuss how many seasons is too many, the incredibly fun yet dangerous daily challenge, Danny/Sarah VS Tori, predictions for if Danny/Tori were to run a final against Sarah/Theo, how we are feeling about Ben's drastic game moves and who we think the partners SHOULD have been for optimal game performance. Finally, we break down the wild nomination ceremony, Grant and Jonna being DQ'd at the elimination due to Grant's injury, overarching thoughts on this expansion and our very opposing views on how things should be handled with this crossover plus, we make our final winner predictions and name our episode MVPs. Honestly, we talk about even more and you all should know it by now. Whenever we sit down with Alex, it's always a very deep look into what has happened up to that point in the season and this episode is no different.
