Blood is probably one of the most important things/symbols in the entire Bible—both the Old and New Testament. From the very beginning (in Genesis), blood plays a significant role in both the literal and symbolic sense.

Jenny and Amy discuss the following:

  • What is it about blood shedding that makes it such a crucial part of the Bible?
  • Why does blood have to be shed for atonement, purification and forgiveness of sins?
  • Is there power in blood?
  • Why and how did the sacrifice of Jesus fulfill the OT sacrificial law?
