The troupe reached the temple at the top of the ziggurat and decided to wait for Adam to join them. Del did a card trick to pass the time, but was really bad at it, Tyler disguised himself as a Lizardfolk to venture into the temple, and Shadow Rogue proposed that they pretend to be prisoners to get further inside. When Adam—now styling himself as ‘Shadow Nemesis’—finally arrived, he mistook Del and Shadow Rogue for actual prisoners, and Hazel-Jimmy tried to shoot at Tyler, but seriously injured Adam instead. Is Adam—I mean ‘Shadow Nemesis’—so hangry and evil now that he’ll eat his own adopted daughter?
