12 PM ET: Hostage families demand ceasefire, deadly bus crash, sports fans cut off & more

A group representing the families of hostages in Gaza has urged protesters to stay on the streets in Israel, even as a court has ordered a nationwide strike to stop. Both Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump are campaigning hard in battleground states as mail-in voting begins this week. Seven people were killed in a bus crash on a highway in Mississippi this weekend. A far-right party has won a state election in Germany for the first time since the Nazi era.
