Jun Lin moved to Canada in 2010 from China, he wanted to attend university in Montreal Quebec. He chose to move to Canada because of its reputation for being a more liberal and accepting place were he could explore a different culture and his sexuality. In 2012 Jun had parted ways from his boyfriend and had recently started online dating. On May 25, Jun Lin didn't show up for work. Being a model employee, his boss had become concerned. At the same time, his friends were also getting worried as they hadn't heard from him either. Four days later a suitcase was found in a Montreal alley containing human remains. This case would take the investigators deep into the evil side of the internet and across the world all the way to Berlin.
