Jessica Marie wanted a good political fantasy and she got one as Nahri and Ali are surviving as best they can in a city rife with tension and about to implode. Forces outside of Daevabad are gathering and they have their sights set on sacking the city. Nahri has the hospital in her grip but what about her husband? The plots come out of the closet and the siblings are bonding as everything finally changes.
