Aaron Davis was 21 years old—a recent college graduate with a political science degree, full of ambition and plans for the future. He was making his way across the South, stopping briefly in Georgia before heading to see his girlfriend in Alabama. That night seemed simple enough: a few drinks, some karaoke, and a guest room to crash in until morning. But Aaron never made it to his next destination. When his vehicle turned up abandoned in a local park, a frantic search began.
