The government announced this week a response to the information provided to them from a workgroup consultation following proposed changes in legislation requiring mandatory periodic inspection and testing to be carried out on at private rented accommodation. In this podcast I talk through and comment on the debate in the house of lords that drove this change and what changes I think that this will make.
