In 1978, 15-year-old Mary Vincent ran away from home to escape an abusive parent. She first went to NorCal with a boyfriend, but soon found herself living on the streets, sleeping in garbage cans and unlocked cars. She was desperate for a place to live, so she decided to hitchhike to SoCal to live with her grandpa. She never saw evil coming until it was too late.
