We continue our month-long journey into the Screwball Comedy with one of the more underrated films of the genre, Ball of Fire. Directed by Howard Hawks, co-written by Billy Wilder, and starring Barbara Stanwyck and Gary Cooper, the 1941 film has become an interesting career footnote of all of the players involved.
