Ready for audition season? I know auditions can be stressful, whether for productions or graduate/college programs, so I'm sharing some of my mistakes that you can make sure to avoid as well as some tips for what to do instead. I hope this helps you feel encouraged that you are not along if you have made these same mistakes (haha, we're in this together!). I also hope this helps you prepare for your next audition or self-tape. Just know that even if you do make these mistakes, it is totally okay and you will learn from every single audition! Hi ladies! I am so excited to help you START singing with confidence so you can have more creative lives as aspiring performing artists!

I get it, because I’ve been there! Hi, I’m Estelle, a Professional Singer, Actor, and Voice Teacher for aspiring female singers and performers in my online studio, Creatively Performing Arts. I also teach and music direct locally in North Carolina at various music studios and theaters!

I’m also a theatre kid at heart even in my 20’s! I grew up performing, but the world kept telling me to save the arts for retirement or the weekends because they aren’t “serious pursuits”. So I didn’t focus on growing those skills as much in college and struggled to feel confident in my love for singing and performing.

However, after college, I realized I had those creative gifts and passions for a reason. So, in spite of my fears, I decided to start growing my skills in singing, dancing, and acting! I began to build more confidence in my dreams and my voice as a singer over TIME. 

I want to help you do the same - build confidence in your singing voice and performance skills, so that you can live out your creative dreams!
