This is the beginning of our mini series, exploring different biblical themes that help us understand the story of God.

In Genesis 3-11, we see the world’s conflict in God’s story. People are sinful, broken, and need restoration. Genesis 12 is God beginning the restoration work on humanity through a promise to Abraham. God's promise is centered around 3 areas: people, place, and presence. 

God promises Abraham

• to build a new community of people
• to give them a place to dwell in
• that  His presence will be with them

This is the ultimate work of God in redemption: creating a people in a place with His presence. In this episode, we look at that promise, how it plays out in the gospel, and why that matters to us today.
