Hi everyone, it’s Kanako. Today’s shadowing is “Weekends activities”. 

“Weekends activities” is one of the common topics in small talks, so practice shadowing with me and be ready to talk about your weekends. Many activities can be described with the verb “do”. For example, do cleaning, do laundry, do tennis, and so on.

What are you going to do on weekends?　週末（しゅうまつ）何を　しますか？

I will clean my room.　部屋のそうじをします。

I will have brunch with my friend.　友達とブランチします。

I will go back to my parents' house.　実家に帰ります。

I will see my girlfriend.　彼女に　会（あ）います。

I will watch a movie with my boyfriend.　彼氏と映画を見ます。

I haven’t decided yet.　まだ　決めていません。

How was weekends?　 週末（しゅうまつ）は　どうでしたか？

It was good. 　よかったです。

It was fun.　楽（たの）しかったです。

It was busy.　いそがしかったです。

It wasn’t busy.　ひまでした。

I went to the gym.　ジムに行きました。

I did some shopping.　買い物しました。

I studied Japanese.　日本語（にほんご）を　勉強（べんきょう）しました。

I went out with my family.　家族と出かけました。

I didn’t do anything.　なにも　しませんでした。
