Does God actually stretch our capacity for more? I used to hear people praying that prayer, asking God for more, for greater things in life and ministry. While I don’t think it’s bad to ask God for more, I do wonder if we are on the same page as Him. If our “more” is the same that He has in mind for us.

What if instead of stretching our capacity, maturing in faith looks like becoming a better steward of it? Maybe our limitedness isn’t something we should strain against, but a gift — an opportunity to embrace the truth that apart from Him we can do nothing. I’m sharing thoughts on all this and more, including 3 ways we can become better stewards of our limitedness in partnership with God.
