Derek is a lifelong musician and performer. After years of doing music full-time, he decided to shift his focus to the business side of the music industry. He was able to work with several major musical instrument brands and some of the top artists in the world. He soon realized that the skills he learned were made for more than just the music industry and he started branching out with brand deals from companies like Razer, Red Dragon, MXL and SE Microphones, Pelican Cases, Presonus, and many others. Now he uses his knowledge to teach others how to get brand deals as a small creator and start earning more money through social media.
