This week we were privileged again, to observe something that is relatively rare in the history of nations. We watched the peaceful transition of political power from one president to another. In a nation as divided as ours, it is remarkable to watch a president from one party voluntarily leave office and a president of a different party take the oath to be inaugurated. This is one of the marks of why America as political structure is exceptional in the history of nations.
