This is part 1 of a 2 part interview with Mikayla Chapparro. In this interview you are going to hear the most honest and tender conversation about what it was like to lose her son Valor when he was just shy of his first birthday and the grief journey she would then embark on.

We talk about destructive patterns amidst grief and what it was like for her to replace those patterns with healthier coping methods that would lead to true healing. Listen in as she shares honestly about the challenges she faced in grief and the ways that she found healing. 

Mikayla has a gift with words and beautifully articulates something that many of us, until lived it, would argue there could be no beauty here – and yet Mikayla talks about a God who weaves unimaginable beauty from unthinkable tragedy.

She talks honestly about what that looked like for her and what her faith looks like today nearly a year later.
