The Impressions were an American music group whose repertoire included doo-wop, gospel, soul, and R&B. Curtis Mayfield first achieved success and recognition with the Impressions during the Civil Rights Movement of the late 1950s and 1960s, and later worked as a solo artist. Godfrey makes his second appearance to discuss the musical influence Mayfield had for generations to come.
