Handedness is both genetic and environmentally determined. Consider that left-handedness was demonized by many cultures, and subsequently, many tools and infrastructure were designed to be most easily used by right-handed people. Although there may be some correlations with personality and gender and other things, what hand-dominance may say about you is probably pretty limited.
