  • 8. Tony Cortez (Ill Repute)

Tony Cortez is the guitarist for the seminal hardcore punk rock band Ill Repute. Started in 1981, and still going strong today, Ill Repute is one of the legendary Big 4 of the original nardcore scene, along with Stalag 13, Agression, and Dr. Know. • 7. Stuart Wilson (Omega Point/Reflections Tape Comp)

Stuart Wilson played drums for Never Meant and currently plays for Omega Point. As a true punk who lives in his van, he discovered a love for the cassette format. He's currently putting the finishing touches on a cassette compilation titled "Reflections" which features Nardcore bands from the 90's. We go down his track list and discuss all the bands and songs he has gathered for this comp.

  • 6. Daniel Sant (Over My Dead Body)

Daniel Sant is a jolly good chap. He's probably best well known as the singer of late 90's/early 00's straight edge hardcore band Over My Dead Body. We talk about:

    - his moving from England to America in his teens
    - starting and playing in his first punk band
    - his time in the Navy
    - that time he fed a dude who spiked his drink a knuckle sandwich
    - his band Palpatine
    - the infamous nazi beatdown at the Che Cafe
    - Over My Dead Body: from start to finish - tours, records, etc
    - how hardcore changed in the mid 2000's
    - his band Northern Towns

Long interview with one of my favorite people I met in HC.

  • 5. Guzman returns with Vince Cordova

Guzman remembered how he got into punk so he wanted to come back and set the record straight. To make it worth the effort of setting up the microphones, I invited his friend Vince Cordova as well. Guz tells his punk origin story. Then Vince tells a story about Guz, and vice versa. Tune in to hear some terrible stories from two of the best guys.

  • 4. Anthony Herrera (Take Offense)

Anthony Herrera aka AH is the singer for Chula Vista powerhouse Take Offense. We talk about the start of the band all through the current time. That's like 14 years, or 4 full HC scene turnovers. TO has persevered and left the posers in their poser ass places. Achtung!

  • 3. Anthony Guzman (PC Deathsquad)

Guzman is a San Diego/Chula Vista scene veteran that is usually funnier than this but hey. Guz played for Clocked in, PC Deathsquad, and Somali Pirates. The third one ripped the hardest. We talk about his time in PC Deathsquad, controversy, woke punk girls, and more.

  • 2. Max McDonald (No Motiv)

You probably do a lot of stuff and think you're pretty good at it, but Max is probably better than you. To know him is to love him, if you can just accept that. Lucky for me, I know him, love him, and now you can too. We talk through his time playing guitar for No Motiv: from the first 7" and all the hype, tours with Face to Face, Good Riddance, and Andrew WK, and how he feels about each record. This is a long one but I hope you enjoy.
