Exploring the Real Life Ghost Stories from Disneyland and Walt Disney World
Every Disney fan is familiar with the 999 happy haunts that call the Haunted Mansions their home, but did you know that there may be real ghosts haunting The Happiest Place on Earth (Disneyland) and The Most Magical Place on Earth (Walt Disney World)?
In Episode 44 of 1923 Main Street: The Daddy Daughter Disney Travel Podcast, we take a closer look at all the known ghost stories from Disney's two major theme park destinations in North America. Are these ghost stories true, or just the result of over active imaginations. We explore the evidence and put our ghost hunter hats on to share our views on whether or not these tales of Disney hauntings have any legs to stand on.
Does Walt Disney Continue to Haunt Disneyland to this Day?
From the ghost of Walt Disney himself, to those of guests and Cast Members who met untimely passing at the parks, we evaluate the evidence as we know it to share our thoughts on whether or not these ghosts may actually inhabit the parks.
Do you Believe in Ghosts?
Join us as we discuss famous ghost stories from Disney Parks and attractions including Pirates of the Caribbean, The Haunted Mansion, Tower of Terror, Space Mountain and more.
Here are links to the videos that we referenced in the episode. Decide for yourself whether you believe in these Disney hauntings.

Walt Disney World Rides, Restaurants and Resort Hotels that are Either Underrated or Overrated
While most Walt Disney World rides, attractions, restaurants and events and are generally pretty good and consistent, there a few that we feel are either underrated or overrated.
In Episode 42 of 1923 Main Street®: The Daddy Daughter Disney Travel Podcast, we share our opinions on various Walt Disney World experiences that we feel get too much credit, or not enough credit.
You will hear our opinions on the following Walt Disney World rides, attractions and dining:

The Disney Parks Icons: The Story Behind Some of the Best-Known Disney "Wienies"
Every Disney Park has its iconic symbol. These are often the most well know images associated with the parks.
In most cases, the icon is something that you can see as soon as you enter the park. Walt Disney called these "wienies." Listen to the episode to hear the reason why. The idea was that the wienie or icon should be something that would draw guests further into the park -- towards the icon itself.
In Episode 41 of 1923 Main Street: The Disney Travel Podcast, we take a closer look at the Disney Parks icons at Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort. Interestingly, not all icons are created equal and some have very interesting pasts.
We cover it all in this fun-filled podcast episode where you'll gain a new perspective on some of the most famous Disney Parks landmarks.

Disney's Magic Kingdom and EPCOT: What, Where and Why?
We discuss the park theming, favorite attractions (and not-so-favorite attractions), in-park dining and other magical things that make these parks the Disney classics that they are.
As the first two of the four parks that comprise Walt Disney World Resort, the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT share a few things in common. At the same time, however, they couldn't be two more total opposites.
In Episode 40 of 1923 Main Street®: The Daddy Daughter Disney Travel Podcast, we take a closer look at both Disney's Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. We highlight our top picks for favorite rides and attractions, best places to dine and other favorite secrets to discover in each park.

Likes, Dislikes and Future Hopes for Disney's Polynesian Village Resort
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is a classic original Walt Disney World hotel. So what's great about it? What's not so great about it? And what should we hope to see in the future?
Disney has announced that the Polynesian is undergoing a (much needed) refurbishment and is expected to reopen in the summer of 2021. The refurbishment will cover guest rooms and the Great Ceremonial House (the main lobby) and will include themes, colors and textures from the Pacific Islands and Moana theming.
Can Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Return to its Former Glory?
The questions remain, however, will this be enough to help a sorely aging property return to its former glory?
Join us as we discuss Disney's Polynesian Village Resort in its current state, including what we like about it, what we don't like about it and what we hope to see once the refurbishment is completed in 2021. With such a big following, hopefully Disney will do it right and give the property some much needed TLC.
