Joey Corona ran the sports afloat program on Norwegian Cruise Lines for years. NCL lead the cruise industry in the late 80’s and 90s by have a major sporty celebrity on every week from the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, Olympic Athletes and auto racing. Joey was in charge every week of interviewing the athletes for the guests and making sure they had a great time. Michael Jordon came on in 1991 and they became fast friends. When Michael came to Miami to play the Heat, Joey would take him out to premier golf courses in Miami. One time Michael took Joey to Raymond Floyd’s house to play his exclusive course. Joey offers great insight to the good man Michael Jordon is how he treats people.
