Our guest today finished the Boston Marathon in 2013. That date is significant because it was the day of the Boston Marathon Bombing. It was the date of the terrorist attack that occurred on April 15, 2013, when two bombs went off near the finish line of the Boston Marathon, killing three spectators and wounding more than 260 other people. And as this episode airs, exactly 11 years later, Cari Kenzie is here to discuss her journey since that traumatic event.
