Hi everyone, it’s Kanako. Today’s shadowing is “If and when A, then B”.

“AたらB” sentence means that the event, action, or situation B is realized if and when condition A is met. For instance, “I’ll buy a car, if and when I become a manager.” would be “マネジャーになったら、車を買います。”.
