みなさんこんにちは、かなこです！今日のシャドーイングは「～そうです」。今回のPodcastは、Michaelさんの提供でお送りします。

Hi everyone, it’s Kanako. Today’s shadowing is “It looks like…”. When you see something, you can make a comment using “～そうです” based on the Impression.

For instance, when you look out the window and you are guessing it’s cold outside, you can say “寒そうです”.

This ramen looks spicy. このラーメンは 辛そうです。

This cake looks sweet. このケーキは 甘そうです。

This sushi looks delicious. このスシは 美味しそうです。

This meat doesn’t look delicious. この肉は 美味しくなさそうです。

That person seems kind. あの人は 優しそうです。

That person looks scary. あの人は 怖そうです。

The president seems to be busy. 社長は 忙しそうです。

The manager seems to have a lot of free time. マネージャーは 暇そうです。

My friend looks sleepy. 友達は 眠そうです。

It looks hot today. 今日は 暑そうです。

That bag looks expensive. あのかばんは 高そうです。

This coat looks warm. このコートは 暖かそうです。

My friend got a job and she seems happy. 友達は 仕事が決まって、嬉しそうです。
