Hi everyone, it’s Kanako. Today’s shadowing is “It looks like…”

When “みたいです” follows a verb, it expresses the idea that something “appears to be the case”.

For instance, if you were to say “My teacher seems to have caught a cold.” you can say, “先生は風邪をひいたみたいです。”.
