Hi everyone, it’s Kanako. Today’s shadowing is “probable

“かもしれません” is placed after the short form of predicates.

For instance, if you are making a guess today’s dinner might be curry because of the smell in the house, you can comment like this “今日の晩ご飯はカレーかもしれません。”.

That person may be a student. あの人は 学生かもしれません。

That person may be a good person. あの人は いい人かもしれません。

It might rain in the evening. 夕方 雨が降るかもしれません。

It might snow tomorrow. 明日 雪が降るかもしれません。

My friend might come over today. 今日 友達がうちに来るかもしれません。

I may go to Italy next year. 来年 イタリアに行くかもしれません。

My friend might quit her job. 友達は仕事を辞めるかもしれません。

I might go out with my friends this weekend. 週末 友達と出かけるかもしれません。

I might be busy next week. 来週 忙しいかもしれません。

It may be cold tomorrow. 明日は寒いかもしれません。
