When you think about the great towlines of the 80s and the companies that produced them, a company like Remco always seems to be on the outskirts of the conversation. In today’s episode Tom and Dana discuss the various toylines Remco was responsible for bringing to collectors as well as some of their lesser known products.

Kenner has been appealing to the collector in us since the 1940s and even though they no longer technically exist, their contributions to the toy world continue to grace our shelves and provide us with fond memories of the toylines that may have made us the collectors we are today. We might not be the best there is at what we do but we know somebody who is! That’s right, it’s everyone’s favorite 5’4” unkillable Canadian, Wolverine. Spanning towlines since the 80s, Wolverine has been a mainstay in Marvel and numerous toy companies, carving out a place on our toy shelves for years to come.

Over the last few years we’ve seen a large number of smaller, independent toy companies rise up and fill a gap in the toy collecting world that might be left empty by the larger, more established companies.
