Synopsis: Today, we are covering the 2018 film, A Star Is Born. Starring: Lady Gaga as Ally and Bradley Cooper as Jackson Maine

Jackson Maine is a famous musician who drinks. Those are the two things he knows about himself. Until he meets Ally, an undiscovered talent who he falls for almost instantly. Her voice and soul speak to him and take up  part of the void he has been filling with drugs and alcohol.

Most of his adult life, his older brother has been picking him up when he falls down, and now it’s ally’s turn. When her career takes off, his void seems to grow deeper and Jack drinks himself to the bottom of the bottle. After a stint in rehab, it looks like it’s possible that he could finally find some peace with himself and love Ally with no barriers. Tragically, Jack, in a vulnerable state, Jack is lead to believe that he is a burden to Ally and he should get out of her life. He’s never not had someone to pick him up when he is down, and doesn’t see a way out this time, and makes the ultimate decision. The gut-wrenching irony is that in the aftermath of Jack’s death, Ally is left to pick up the pieces.
