Welcome to The Grit Show!
In today’s episode, Joe Ingles talks about what it’s like to be an NBA player, on and off the court. He emphasizes the importance of relationships with the people you work with, and how much Coach Quin Snyder shaped him as a player. There is a huge emphasis on fatherhood, and what it’s like to raise a child with Autism. Ingles shares the things that viewers don’t see, like missing his daughters first soccer goal because he is traveling, or landing at 3 a.m., only to drive his son to school at 7 am. Stay until the end to hear about his best and worst moments in basketball, and who he thinks is going to win this year’s NBA finals!
Joe Ingles is an NBA (National Basketball Association) player for the Milwaukee Bucks, but is better known for his time on the Utah Jazz where he played for 8 years. He is married to Netball Gold Medalist, Renae Ingles, and together they have a cute family of five. In addition to his championships in other leagues and awards in the NBA, Ingles is a 4x Olympian. He is an Autism Advocate and KultureCity board member.
