When did “spin” become the norm?  Is truth no longer relevant?  Wisdom Teacher Sri Ram Kaa and Angellic Oracle Kira Raa take you on a journey from the hit TV Show Spin City, all the way through to the tsunami in Japan and the uprisings middle east. “Spin is that brown-nosing friend that will tell you exactly what you want to hear,” explains Kira.  But is this media phenomenon eroding our spiritual life?  And what does this all mean for humanity as we approach 2012?

“How many of you, first and foremost, when this horrific event happened…had that feeling deep with in you that there was more to this story?” asks Kira.  The initial news story, Sri points out, was that things “aren’t so bad.”  Obviously, this wasn’t true.  But why did they hide the truth?  Or detain it?  (“To quell public panic!”).  Do we prefer not know know?

“Remember, everything in the outer world is a reflection of our inner psychology, of our inner consciousness,” says Sri, as he and Kira investigate the role of the government in the production of “spin” in the mainstream media.  Why do we allow this suppression of our core feelings?  “We have become addicted to non-truth,” explains Kira.  But is it really the government’s job to placate us in this way?  And, if so, why?
