***We review the new 2018 Halloween Trailer***
There are some allusions to the films of the Halloween franchise, and of course, we break down the new trailer. Otherwise, there are some vintage Mike 1 rants you don’t wanna miss.
Intro - what is this Devil & the Advocate Format? - 1:03
Mike 1’s Opening Rant - 2:02
The Devil (Also Mike) Interviews the Advocate - 4:06
Mike No 1’s Final Thoughts - 15:20
We love antagonizing one another. So we now love recording these Devil & the Advocate quickisodes. This time, it’s Also Mike interviewing Mike 1 about one of his favorite film franchises, the Michael Myers slashers of Halloween.
Also Mike gets the hosting gig, and Mike no 1 gets the opening rant. Hot takes fly fast and furious, and blood is spilled in the process. We break down the cast & crew from Jamie Lee Curtis to the involvement of Blumhouse, director David Gordon Green, and last but not least, John Carpenter himself.
Mike 1 breathes fire into the microphone and he spreads his dragon wings and chars the remains of all of Also Mike’s questions during the interview portion of the pod. We then give some space for closing arguments about why one of us is thoroughly hyped for this movie, and how the other is secretly excited to see it as well.
If you liked this quickisode DATA format, check out our first installment when Also Mike ranted & raved against Solo: A Star Wars Story. Hear how the Sabacc tables were turned on the Mikes in this episode.
