God is orderly and personal, and He will guide us into the career He has planned for us.

God created us in His image and part of that image is His love to work, to create, to accomplish. We are designed to do the same and God cares about how we do it.

Trust brings Joy.

When God calls He encourages with a Word and a Witness.

Following God takes courage and faith.

We must look for God and His handiwork even in the hard times.

Like Mary we have to choose to believe the promises of God to us. When we do this we discover that joy and rejoicing are just around the corner.

What does it mean to examine ourselves, judge ourselves rightly, and discern the body? The answer is rooted in Christ's physical body--his sacrifice--and in the gathered church as the body of Christ. We unite in love to participate in Christ, proclaiming the gospel and showing its power.

Each of us must live our lives in testimony to God’s great faithfulness even though he may call us to difficult ministries. We must remain faithful witnesses of His ability to work in and through us in His world. Prophecy (God’s Word spoken in advance) and precedent (God’s work in the lives of those who have gone ahead of us) help us to remain faithful.
