God gives His body the people we need – who have His carefully chosen gifts – which are required at particular seasons – so that His specific work in us will be accomplished. Today we specifically recognized two of these gifts to us, our new lead pastor, Geno Hildebrandt, and his wife, P.J.

The great purposes of God are fulfilled through the everyday lives of ordinary people who choose to pursue life for God and not merely life for themselves.

To actualize hope, we need to wake up to God-given opportunities. Hope makes plans and takes risks. God who often invests Himself in our plans rewards our Chesed (kindness) with His own Chesed.

Life is uncertain and full of difficult circumstances. God is not unaware, even better, He has the whole picture in view and is at work creating and crafting in our lives.

The Kingdom of God is a spiritual state of being where the believer is in reciprocal relationship with both God and with other believers. These relationships require us to forgive and to be forgiven.

God’s work behind the circumstances of Ruth and Boaz’ lives teaches us to walk in hope by trusting the God who shelters the outsider with lovingkindness.

Because each person matters to God and plays a part in his great plan, we have hope even in unpleasant and desperate circumstances.

Churches are not buildings; churches are people. Any accomplishment of Hope Chapel is a direct product of how God has expressed His life through her people.

Hope Chapel, like all churches, has defining characteristics. As we seek to discern God’s will for us in the future, it will be helpful to consider what God has already implanted in our midst.

A disciple of Jesus is one who grows in the knowledge of God in Christ.
