VALERIE RAYNER 3rd Annual “Be The One” Suicide Prevention Charity Motorcycle Ride
The event takes place Saturday, April 12. It’s a six county law enforcement escorted ride. The ride leaves Fayetteville with stops in Selma and Dudley. The ride ends in Jacksonville, NC at the Onslow County Fairgrounds. There will be cars… trucks… mikes… and a Jeep show as well as vendor.
The goal is to raise awareness and funds for suicide prevention in our community.

LAWMAKERS TO STUDY TRAFFIC CONGESTION NEAR FORT BRAGG
North Carolina Lawmakers plan to study traffic congestion near Fort Bragg. NC House Bill 644 is a bipartisan bill filed by several state representatives… including Mike Colvin… democratic representative from Cumberland County.
Colvin said the primary focus is the Spring Lake area along NC Highway 24, NC Highway 87, and Vass Road. He said the area’s population is growing rapidly and the infrastructure needs aren’t keeping up.
