I'm coming in with a special episode of Creative Chats, where I share a recording of a talk I did at a recent tech conference called "That Conference." The talk is titled "How to Unlock Your Creative Potential: Discover the Surprising Benefits of a Daily Creative Practice", and I unpack my creative journey and process and talk about why you need to be intentional about your own creativity!

1️⃣ Embrace Curiosity and Experimentation: I learned the importance of playing and experimenting when the stakes are low. Whether it's dipping a stick in paint or exploring new techniques, giving ourselves permission to be curious can lead to breakthrough moments.

2️⃣ Take a Break, Give Yourself Space: Our brains need breaks to recharge and see things from a new perspective. By intentionally taking time to play and give our minds a rest, we can open ourselves up to fresh ideas and approaches to problem-solving.

3️⃣ Be Proactive in Your Creative Journey: It's essential to stay proactive and not let discouragement derail us. Accepting the gap between our vision and reality allows us to focus on what's possible and take proactive steps towards our creative goals.
