Today's Passage: Colossians 1:15-17

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.

Today's Prayer: 

Lord, you are our creator.

You were before all things,

And you hold all things together.

Let us not lose sight of this incredible gift—

The gift of serving the one true God,

The firstborn of all creation.

Let us not lose sight of the beauty of serving a Good Father

Who chose us as His people before the foundations of the earth.

Let us not lose sight of the joy that is ours as we rest in knowing that 

We were created for your glory alone.

You are good and holy and worthy of our praise.

We love you, Lord.

Amen.
