We long to be a people who know our Father deeply—who remember that He has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints (Colossians 1:12), rescued us from the domain of darkness, and brought us into the kingdom of His beloved Son (1:13). We long to be a people who trust that the Father’s ways are true and better, who seek the things above, where Christ is seated at His right hand (3:1), and who grow in wisdom and spiritual understanding (1:9–10).
Throughout the month of May—a time when life can feel rushed and scattered—our prayer is that the book of Colossians would draw us closer to the Father, rooting us in His presence, forming us in His truth, and reminding us that our lives are now hidden with Christ in God (3:3).
