Starting as a labour and employment lawyer, Carol then transitioned to organisational and diversity consultancy (before it was really even a thing!), and now uses her experience and passion to run her own business, providing coaching and advise to high-achieving female leaders and consulting for organisations.

In this episode, we discuss the importance of aligning our work with our values and how we can identify patterns within our past experiences and use them to create meaningful career paths. 

Dr. Walsh emphasizes the need to go beyond surface-level factors like titles and degrees and explore your personal motivations and skill sets when considering a career change, as this is the best way to ensure a fulfilling and meaningful career. 

We also discuss the common fears and resistance that individuals may face, and Carol explains how creating bridges between your current and desired role is an effective (and less stressful!) method for gradual transitions.
