みなさん こんにちは、かなこです。きょうの シャドーイングは 「い形容詞（けいようし）の現在形（げんざいけい）」です。

Hi everyone, it’s Kanako.

Today’s shadowing is “いAdjective present tense”. All the “いAdjectives” conjugate the same way, and for the present tense affirmative, simply add “です” after “い”. For the present tense negative, drop the “い” and add “くないです”.

It’s hot in Hawaii. 　ハワイは　暑いです。

It's not hot today.　 今日は暑くないです。

It’s cold in Canada.　カナダは寒いです。

It's not cold today.　 今日は　寒くないです。 

I’m busy today.　今日は　忙しいです。

I will not be busy tomorrow.　 明日は　忙しくないです。

Kanji is difficult.　漢字は　難しいです。

Hiragana is not difficult.　 ひらがなは　難しくないです。
