Barney started Red News, Manchester United’s oldest and one of only two remaining fanzines, in 1987

Growing up as a cockney Red, he experienced United through times of immense hooliganism, side by side with his amazing Mother, herself an activist in the United fanbase, and a love affair developed that has lasted until today and beyond.
