Having revisited Marcus Rashford's interview from last year, I came away with a different perspective.

Rather than focusing on individual moments or performances, this episode looks at what Rashford had to say about Manchester United's lack of long-term direction, constant managerial changes and the absence of a clear footballing identity.

Many of the frustrations he described were shared by supporters at the time, but with another year having passed—and significant cultural changes taking place under the current football leadership—is it time to reassess Rashford's situation?

I discuss where I think he was right, where I disagree, why the cultural reset at Manchester United has been so important, and what Rashford would have to prove if he is to earn another opportunity at the club.

This isn't about ignoring the criticisms of his performances or attitude. It's about asking whether there is now a genuine opportunity for Marcus Rashford to come back into a very different Manchester United.
