みなさん こんにちは、かなこです。きょうの シャドーイングは 「い形容詞（けいようし」の過去形（かこけい）」です。

Hi everyone, it’s Kanako.

Today’s shadowing is “いAdjective past tense”. For the past tense affirmative, drop the “い” and add “かった”. For the past tense negative, drop the “くない” and add “くなかった”.

It wasn’t fun.　 たのしくなかったです。

It was scary.　こわかったです。

It wasn’t scary.　 こわくなかったです。

It was interesting.　おもしろかったです。

It wasn’t interesting.　 おもしろくなかったです。

Hotels in Tokyo were expensive.　東京のホテルは　高かったです。

Hotels in Shizuoka were not expensive.　 静岡のホテルは　高くなかったです。

Bento from a convenience store was cheap.　コンビニのお弁当は　安かったです。

Bento from a department store wasn’t cheap.　デパートのお弁当は　安くなかったです。

This exam was difficult.　このテストは　難しかったです。

This exam wasn’t difficult.　このテストは　難しくなかったです。

My teacher was kind.　私の先生は　やさしかったです。

My teacher wasn’t kind.　私の先生は　やさしくなかったです。

I was busy today.　今日は　忙しかったです。

I wasn’t busy today.　 今日は　忙しくなかったです。
