Becky and Bev discuss the case of Ashley Wadsworth. Ashley grew up in Vernon British Columbia. She was a known social butterfly within her community and liked to make friends online as well which is where she met 16-year-old Jack Sepple - a young man from the United Kingdom. The two became fast friends but their relationship quickly progressed into something more romantic. Their long-distance relationship would continue until Ashley was 18, however it was not without turbulence. Their relationship was marked with many ups and downs and was particularly difficult due to Jack's jealousy. At the age of 19, Ashley gets the opportunity to travel to the UK to be with her on and off again boyfriend, Jack, and makes the decision to venture off without her parents for the first time. When she arrives in the country, she is extremely happy! However, it isn't long before the dynamic of their relationship changes and Ashley's family starts to fear for her safety.
