The troupe were set free by Rumpleforeskin, who helped them see that Denton Arthur has always been the Dark Lord of this realm. They faced off with flamethrower-wielding robots, but upon closer examination, they determined that the robots were the former citizens of Denton’s village and their constant refrain of “We protect the town” was their desperate attempt to communicate. The boys armoured themselves with pieces of robot, and Del eagerly accepted Lucretia’s assistance in exchange for a kiss, receiving in return most of Adam’s bag of holding and Denton’s location. Are the troupe prepared to meet another Dark Lord?
