Depression and Anxiety are kind of the tentpoles of mental illness. The OG's. The standards. They seem to be almost universal conditions that everyone experiences to some degree or other. And lately, with global uncertainty and a pandemic that continues to wreak havoc on our species they seem to be on the rise.
