First of all, kids say the darndest things. 

[11:30 minute mark] Three kids belonging to some listeners of this podcast, as well as Joey’s son Waylon, kick us off to talk about the deeper things in life.  We talk about how God is good in the context of tornadoes, some specific times their parents have cussed, how the devil is apparently stronger than God sometimes, whether Biden will make a good president, and whether or not they would be nervous to babysit baby Jesus.  One of these kids is an open theist, none of them are quite sure whether skin is an essential organ, Waylon has lied to his dad recently and a couple of them think Cobain was killed by his wife.  Oh, and the devil created robbers and cancer. 

[50:00 minute mark] Secondly, Joey talks to his friend Amy Alderman and what it’s like to be obese.  Amy has been told by some that “she’s liked despite her weight” and that “no one would take her serious as a speaker because of her weight.”  She shares how people see “fat” as contagious, recounts how she feels judged at restaurants, and outlines the many stereotypes and assumptions people have about fat people.  Joey admits to falling prey of these stereotypes and asks questions about "fat jokes."
